Shaping security

As forms of attack and technologies are constantly evolving, it is essential to keep track of current research topics in order to effectively anticipate and prepare for future challenges. Cyber threats are becoming increasingly sophisticated and are taking advantage of technological advances to exploit vulnerabilities. Our proactive approach ensures that companies are armed against future forms of attack and can adapt to the dynamic landscape of cyber security.

Prof. Dr. Marian Margraf

Marian Margraf is a professor at the Free University of Berlin, where he heads the information security working group. He is also head of department at the Fraunhofer Institute AISEC. As a founding member and senior IT security expert, he and his staff contribute by bringing the current developments in the fields of IT security and usable security.

Prof. Dr. Sören Werth

Sören Werth is a Professor of Applied Mathematics and IT Security at the Berlin University of Applied Sciences (BHT). As a founding member and senior IT security expert, he contributes his many years of experience in the development and evaluation of cryptosystems.

Dr. Peter Tomassen

Peter Thomassen is a member of the Internet Namespace Security Observatory (INSO) Advisory Board at George Mason University, Virginia (USA). A former CERN-trained particle physicist, his research focuses on the quantum transition of cryptography and the transformation of Internet infrastruture to quantum-resilient security protocols, including co-chairing an industry-wide research effort on post-quantum DNSSEC.

Senior Security Expert

Teetje is a Senior Security Expert at SSE, specialized in and passionate about cryptography. He is lead of our Defensive Security Team. As such he helps create secure applications both in design and implementation phase.

Bastian Kanbach

Senior Security Consultant

Bastian is part of our Offensive Security Team delivering tailored security assessments and Red Team exercises that fit the requirements of our clients. He specializes in network and infrastructure security.
